Obituary for Andrew Gregory Esca

February 9, 1986 - June 9, 2020
White Plains, New York | Age 34

Andrew Gregory Esca was born in New York City on February 9th, 1986 to Alexander Esca and Genevieve Morseman. Andrew spent his childhood growing up in Pelham Manor, attending Pelham Memorial High School and graduated with National Honors. After High School, Andrew attended Lehigh University to study engineering, where he joined the Alpha Beta Delta Chapter of Chi Psi fraternity. Transferring to Manhattan College to be closer to his hometown, Andrew graduated with a bachelor degree of science. He then pursued a career in computer science, developing financial services technology, living and working in both the US and Europe.

Over the last few years, Andrew explored different life paths that were available to him as a young man, moving to Florida and then also California to study acting, where he developed great friendships along the way. During the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Andrew made the decision to move back to New York to help out and be closer to family until it was safe to move to Florida again. Sadly, before his next journey Andrew passed away suddenly at the age of 34, on June 9th, 2020.

Andrew was a kind, gentle, loving person, and an extremely bright young man. He also had a silly sense of humor and you could always rely on him to make you laugh. He enjoyed many things in life, including: swimming, diving, chess, reading, skiing, traveling, exercising and the outdoors. The love he held for his family and friends was endless. He made countless friends wherever he traveled and truly cared for each and every person he crossed paths with. He will be forever missed by those who knew him.

Andrew came from a large family and is survived by both his parents; his brother Keith; sisters Catherine, Julie, Raegan, Emily, Alexandra and Maria; nine nieces and nephews: Isabel, Maya, Julian, Georgiana, Luca, Dominic, Livia, Eleonora, and Michael Alexander. Andrew also held his numerous aunts, uncles and cousins dear to his heart.

Given the current COVID-19 Pandemic, to mitigate risk for family and friends, and ensure Andrew receives the service he deserves, a Mass Service will be held for him at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church (OLPH) located at 575 Fowler Ave, Pelham Manor, New York on August 15th at 11:00 am.
