Marna, Tara, Alma and all the extended Kenneally family; our condolences to you on the death of our dear friend Billy. Every year when we visited Woodlawn, we had a big extended breakfast with Billy, the Kielys & Denis O'Connor in Eileen's next to The Heritage on McLean Avenue. He was a great man and we will miss him. We saw the streamed Mass in St Barna as' Church; what a beautiful & fitting Ceremony.
May he Rest In Peace.

Although it is with great sadness that I write this tribute for a dear friend. There is a tremendous amount of gratitude and appreciation that comes with it. In 1969, Billy helped me to get my first job in construction and he also bought me my first cup of coffee in the US. For that I am forever grateful. We kept in touch through the years and had many a good laugh. Billy will be remembered fondly and will be forever a dear friend and gentleman. May he RIP always. With deepest sympathy to his loving family.

Very sorry to hear of Billies death. I met Billy whenever I visited Denny John in NY. We had great chats about Cork hurling and Marathon chats when we talked about his family and his travels in Oregon. I live in the Portland area and was an active hiker in some of places he knew and loved. He was more than a friend to Denny John and I called him a lot when I needed to know how Denny John was doing while suffering from his own illness. Last time I saw Billy was when I was in NY for his funeral. Like Denny John we thought he would live forever but no, he has gone to join his pals in the Cork sections where I know he will still be the nice fellow we all knew. Deepest Sympathy especially to his wife and family and to his legion of friends who knew him better than I.

My deepest condolences to Marna, Alma, Tara and all other family and friends. Sending lots of love your way from Melbourne, Australia. Billy was an incredibly wonderful, caring person. He and Marna showed me much kindness and generosity during my 2015 stay with them in New York. Billy went out of his way to show me around, take me to his favourite local spots and make my first experiences seeing snow very memorable. I'll never forget being taken up to the rooftop of his apartment building to look down on the beautifully white surrounding neighbourhood. Billy had a soul like no other and will always be remembered very fondly by all who had the pleasure of crossing his path. Rest In Peace.

My deepest sympathies to Marna and family on the death of Billy. Billy and Marna gave me the trip of a lifetime a few years ago with my great friend and Billy's cousin Ruth Kelleher! Their hospitality knew no bounds. Billy's fantastic story telling and Marna's amazing cooking meant that it was a five star holiday! His stories about sheep herding out west were hilarious abd all true. I never forget the day we spent in Gaelic park watching all the matches and talking about cork GAA! The kindness he showed to his community and especially the young arrivals from Ireland was plain to see. I am so sorry that I will not have the opportunity to enjoy your stories again! What a special and lovely man ! May he rest in peace.
