Tribute & Message From The Family

Kevin Patrick Flannery of Bronx NY, passed away suddenly at his home in Woodlawn. He was 49 years old. Born in the Bronx to William and Bridget Flannery, Kevin was one of three children. He was raised in Pelham Manor where he attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Grammar School and Blessed Sacrament High School. Kevin had a very strong work ethic. He left Iona and went straight to work for Gristedes. He quickly rose up the ranks, becoming the Regional Produce Supervisor, responsible for over 30 stores. It was while working for Gristedes he would meet his wife Daisy. Kevin and Daisy would marry in New Rochelle and later be blessed to have a daughter Jacqueline who was his pride and joy.

In his spare time Kevin loved going to car meets and spending time with his three children. He enjoyed spending time with friends, and traveling, including multiple road trips up and down the East coast.

Kevin will be remembered as a generous, hardworking man who would give you the shirt off his back. He was selfless, compassionate, dedicated and big hearted.

Kevin is survived by Daisy, his daughter; Jacqueline along with Brian and Glenny, his brother William (Janine) Flannery, his two nephews; William and Connor as well as many cousins and friends. Kevin is predeceased by his parents William and Bridget as well as his brother Michael.
