Dear Jackie and family,
So sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was a very special person! I recall her hosting a surprise lunch party at your home for my 13th Birthday, a fond memory I hold to this day. You might also remember she gifted me with a patent leather purse with umbrella, it was the height of fashion. Your mom always opened her home to us and made the day fun. I trust you will find peace in recalling how special she was. With heartfelt sympathy, Cathy Murphy Uzzillia Newhouse

Gloria was a neighbor of ours for a little over 5 years. She was one of the most kind-hearted and caring people I've ever known. I will never forget her and all the advice she gave me and conversations and laughs we shared. She absolutely adored my daughter and would call me and say how she loved to hear the pitter-pattering of "the little Bumbletta". She was a good neighbor but an even better friend and will be missed dearly. My heart goes out to her children and grandchildren. She always would tell me how proud she was of all of them. May loving memories bring them comfort and solace during this very difficult time. May Gloria rest in eternal peace. Our deepest and sincerest condolences to her family and friends. - Lauren & Carlos Madeira
