Tribute & Message From The Family

He was a true family guy, hardworking and a friend to everyone he knew.

Keith M. Lynch of Woodlawn, formerly of Roscrea, Co Tipperary, passed away on Thursday, September 19th, 2019. He was 45 years old. Keith was born in Limerick Hospital and raised in Roscrea where he attended Roscrea Vocational School. Upon graduation Keith worked at the Bacon Factory for multiple years. Although he loved being at home with his family in Roscrea Keith had a burning ambition to leave home to better himself. He briefly moved to London before finally moving to Woodlawn NY as an Aer Lingus Carpenter in 2000. He most recently worked for local 157.

In 2006 Keith would meet the love if his life Katie Doherty. The couple enjoyed traveling, going to Festivals, hiking trips with the dog, GAA matches, theatre, playing darts and pool, and going out for dinner and drinks.
To say Keith had a sweet tooth and enjoyed eating would be an understatement. If he wasn't eating Meanies, it was Hunkie Dories, Club Milks, Hershey's and of course his favorite vegetables…..Mushy Pea's and turnips.

Keith will be remembered as a wonderful husband, son, brother, Uncle and friend. He was caring, thoughtful, energetic and unbelievably funny. He was a true family guy, hardworking and a friend to everyone he knew.

Keith will be deeply missed by his loving wife Katie, His parents Dickie and Anne Lynch, His brothers; Jason (Rebecca), Michael (Sinead), Allen (Angela), James (Danika) and his many nephews and nieces. He is also deeply missed by Katie's family and everyone that knew him.

A celebration of Keith's life will take place at Pelham Funeral Home located at 64 Lincoln Ave. Pelham NY on Monday, September 23rd, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm. A Funeral mass will take place at Saint Barnabas Church, 409 East 241st Street, Bronx, NY on Tuesday, September 24th at 09:30 am. Keith's remains will be repatriated home to Roscrea, Ireland. He will be waked at Tierney's Funeral Home on Thursday, September, 26th and then a funeral mass will take place on Friday, September 27th in St. Cronin's Church, Roscrea followed by his burial in the adjoining cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Keith's name to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust.

Working for Keith was quite an experience to say the least. Keith taught me many, many things - especially how to be a hard worker. Keith had a great sense of humor and although he came off very tough at work he had a very big heart. I just spoke to Keith two weeks ago, I can't believe this has happened. My prayers are with Keith and his family.
