Condolence & Memory Journal

We just learned of Tom's passing. Frost Valley YMCA sends our condolences to Tom's family. We had the pleasure of working with Tom for many years as he helped so many of Pelham's students get an outdoor and team building experience. He was such an amazing teacher to work with- so easy going, yet excited and so loose, yet organized. We will miss him.

Fond memories of Tommy and Kris from Pelham and Scouts in '80s. Tom Sr. being a legendary camp cook took us all over the Hudson River Valley in their big station wagon to great campsites, always making sure the Troop was well fed in the evening. Tommy was such a great spirit, always having a smile on his face as he guided us younger guys on hikes and earning merit badges, always with a heart of gold. Reading his obituary and others comments, it is no surprise that he grew up to be an influential educator that touched the lives of so many. Please accept my deepest condolences to the entire Roksvold family, his children and wife. Sending love with all my memories during this incredibly difficult time.

From the Blanc Family, please accept out condolences to the entire Roksvold family. Our hearts are heavy as we grieve with you. As Co-chair to the Pelham MS Hospitality committee for 3 years Tom was always "quietly" giving back to the students... in immeasurable ways. He was a fixture during MS Moving up and was always there to pin the boutonnière's and place the wristlets on the students. He also made a big impression on my children during the "Frost Valley" trip and on so many other occasions. We know the pain you are going through right now. In the future, please remember that no one can take away your precious memories and that he will always be there, in your minds and hearts.... forever. Best regards, The Blanc Family; Beth, Pierre, Christopher & Lauren.
