My sympathy's to Sean's family. I was one one his neighbors in his building in Forest Hills. He was always full of such bright positive energy in the hallways and elevators, and so generous with his time (when we needed a notary). He will be missed.

Sincere condolences to Seán's family, nieces and nephews whom he spoke of so often. Seán was my first pal in NYC. Myself, Peter and girls were blessed to have known his friendship, kindness and generousity while posted there. An all round top guy who will remain forever cherised in our thoughts.

Sean was very kind to me and we often had good laughs together at IBO gatherings! He made it possible for me to present my Master's thesis work on the "Holy Wells of Ireland" at the IBO evening meeting, Oct. 2015.
He always offered his helping hand, and his listening ear to you, he was kind, giving and generous! God Speed, Sean! We will truly miss you!

Sean was the ultimate gentleman. Nothing was a bother to him if he was helping others. During my time in the IBO I had the privilege of being in his company several times. He was always upbeat, positive and very motivated. He went the extra mile to get the task done. He always made me feel valued and treated me like a friend. That's how Sean was! He was one in a million. Rest In Peace Sean.

I cannot attend the service but knew Sean through various Irish organic and events. He was always a warm face at the Consulate networking breakfast, or an IBO meeting, or the countless other ways he shared his heritage in the community. Sean listened to concerns, offered support and sage advice, and always greeted with a smile. I wish I had known he wasn't well, as there are regrets at not being able to say goodbye. He will be missed by many.

My deepest condolences for your loss. Sean's death will be felt deeply within the community for years to come. His heart was as generous as his smile. I did not know him long, but he made me feel like I knew him forever. I wish I could pay my respects in person but I will be sitting for the New York Bar Exam on Wednesday. I will say a rosary to his memory that evening.
