Condolence & Memory Journal

This Is Pudgy, The Puppy Don Gave Me.
She Was The Best Gift, I Have Ever Received.
I Loved Her Very Much.
She was The Sweetest & Had A Great Personality.
She Was Only 8.
She Had A Stroke In The Summer Of 2018.
I Kept Her Going, The Last 8 Months, With CBD.
But I Couldn't Save Her.
She Passed, February 2020.

Don Didn't Know She Was Sick.
He Loved Her, Too.

Deron, Donna & Karen,
I'm So Very Sorry, You Had To Go Through This Heartbreak.
I Hope All Your Children Are OK & Coping With Their Loss, As Well.
I Wish I Would Have Known That He Was So Sick.
That Was My Fault. I Regret Not Knowing.
I Would've Come In A Heartbeat.
I Only Found Out Because I Wanted To Call
Him, To See How He Was Coping With This Mess We're All In.
The Last Time I Spoke With Don, Was Christmas Eve, 2017.
As We Did Every Christmas Eve.

A Lot Of Our Time Together, Was Spent, Talking About All Of You
& Your Adorable Children.
He Was Proud Of Each Of You For Different Reasons.
His Grandchildren Brought Him Joy & Made Him Laugh At Their Antics.

I Will Love & Miss Him,The Rest Of My Life.

I Have Other Pictures Of Your Father.
Also, A Letter Don Wrote To His Mother, From The Service.

I Will Have The Prints Made & Send Them Out
To You, Along With The Letter.
Again, Please Accept My Sincerest Apology For Not Knowing.

Dear Deron, Donna and Karen,
I extend my deepest condolences to you and your families on the passing of your father, and my longtime friend from East Harlem, Donny. Sadly, it's been several years since we last saw each other and I miss getting together with Donny, Ronnie and Steve as we used to do some years ago. I had planned to attend the wake with Steve today but circumstances made it difficult.
I pray that God will help you cope with your loss and comfort you.
With much love and sympathy,
Dante Medici
