Condolence & Memory Journal

Manny was a very special person to many people. My first memory of her was seeing her walk into a meeting with her 2 young children, Lelah and Jason, leading a group of senior citizen ladies, Irish, Italian, German, Jewish, all who lived in Manny's Bronx building. They would follow Manny anywhere because she spoke up for them and led them in an effort to improve the conditions of their building and community.

I think of Manny, the teacher, who went to schol while raising her own children and eventually became a certified teacher and wonderful gift to the children in her school.

I remember her love for her 4 children and how they were the center of her life.

And, I saw how Manny expanded the world of my good friend Peter and how he loved her and she loved him.

Manny was so special and will be missed by all of us.
